Malcolm “retired” early as a Private Equity executive who was involved in buying and selling middle market building materials and automotive parts companies.
Once unencumbered by his holdings, he wanted to devote his time, in part, to volunteer work. Through Vehicles for Change, founded in 1998 via a public-private partnership, to be most rewarding. His ah ha moment had arrived: helping others who needed a hand up. With that experience as well as developing management, mentoring both emerging companies and their entrepreneurial leaders, volunteer work became a major part of his life.
Malcolm joined the Board of Kitchens for Good in 2021 after four years as a volunteer. His role as a part time volunteer was supporting management in development and general services. Supporting the management team of Kitchens for Good, wherever and whenever possible is my objective in serving.
