Director of Curriculum and Instruction
As Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Kitchens for Good, Lindsey oversees all workforce training and education for the Culinary, Baking, and Foodservice Management Apprenticeship programs. Her work in education (learners aged 5-80) spans more than a decade, from elementary Special Education to developing, teaching, and evaluating community cooking education. As the former Distribution Network Engagement Manager of Feeding San Diego, Lindsey managed 160 Community and College Partnerships serving 63,000 San Diegans each week, as well as the County’s Retail Rescue Program and Starbucks Foodshare Program that redirected 13 million pounds of rescued food to San Diegans in 2018. At Manna Food Center in Maryland, she managed the retrofitting, design, and education programming of a 72-passenger school bus into a licensed commercial kitchen and mobile food pantry. Lindsey is an active member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals, and has been featured by The Kitchn, Share Our Strength, SWAY San Diego, KUSI, and Voice of America. Lindsey holds an undergraduate degree in Social Work and graduate certificate in nutrition.
