Throughout her career, Jennifer Gilmore has looked at food as a catalyst for building bridges across diverse communities.
Jennifer joined Kitchens from Good in 2015. Under her leadership, Kitchens for Good has become the go-to-source for culinary talent in the San Diego region, helped hundreds of individuals launch their careers, distributed more than 600,000 meals, and generated more than $12M in revenue.
Before joining Kitchens for Good, Jennifer spent more than two decades in food banking. In 2007, she was recruited to oversee the establishment and strategic growth of Feeding San Diego. During her tenure there as Executive Director, the organization pioneered its signature food rescue, healthy produce, school pantry, and mobile food pantry programs.
Jennifer is a member of the San Diego Hunger Coalition’s Advisory Board, Catalyst Kitchens Advisory Committee, and has been the recipient of several awards including the 2013 Tribute to Women in Industry Visionary Award and most recently the 2020 James Irvine Leadership Award.
She holds an MPA from the Eller School of Business at the University of Arizona.
