Kelly Souza is a senior vice president and manager of the Wells Fargo Commercial Real Estate office in San Diego.
As one of the nation’s leaders in the real estate industry, Wells Fargo provides a comprehensive platform of banking and financing solutions to regional and national owners, operators and developers, real estate funds, and real estate investment trusts (REITs).
Kelly joined Wells Fargo as a Financial Analyst in the Commercial Real Estate office in San Diego, CA and participated in the Financial Analyst Program (FAP). After successfully completing the FAP, Kelly participated in the Credit Management Training Program, and then returned to the Commercial Real Estate office in San Diego, CA as a relationship manager. Kelly was appointed to her current role as manager of the San Diego Commercial Real Estate office in 2013.
Kelly has held various leadership roles within Wells Fargo including actively participating on the Development and Engagement Council (DEC) in Commercial Real Estate. Involvement on the DEC includes acting as Chair of the Recruiting and Retention committee from 2012-2015 and most currently acting as the Diversity Champion of the Development Committee. In her role as the Diversity Champion, Kelly recently championed a Women’s Initiative for Commercial Real Estate with the goal of improving gender diversity within Commercial Real Estate.
Kelly is an active participant in many local organizations including a Board of Director at Kitchens for Good, member of the Policy Advisory Board at the Burnham Moores Center for Real Estate at the University of San Diego and an active member at the local and national chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and NAIOP organizations.
One of Kelly’s many passions is interacting and developing students with ongoing participation in Wells Fargo and the University of San Diego’s mentor programs. Kelly also acted as a mentor for the Urban Land Institute’s inaugural “Healthy Living” student competition in 2016.
Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
